Here is the answers to the questions about the copyright section
I learned that some ideas are too good to just be uprotected. If you have something you want to get a copyright on, go and get one. Its not that difficult to do, and sometimes it can pay off big. The original creator of what we call the snuggie was jipped, since he didnt copyright it. Some other guy comes along, copyrights it, and makes millions of dollars. You need ot be aware of what might happen if you dont protect what you think is good.

This chapter focuses on some safety tips for when you are on the internet. At all times, we need to be careful of what we post, what we look up, and who we "friend." Sometimes, it can lead us to the wrong direction and get us in more jeopardy than we imagined.
Reflection:
I believe as a daily internet and computer user that we do have to be careful of what we do on these social websites. Some people need to think before they post, since some other people may be effected in ways we never thought possible. Also, we need to know the signs of viruses and spyware before it hits us. Prevention is they key. We were infected with a bad virus because we had a fake safety screen pop up, and someone in our family presses download to get the virus off. I am not sure what their line of thinking was at the moment, but clearly in the end, it caused us to get a new computer, we had to refile and stock our computer with photos, passwords, ect. If we are internet smart, then the scamming and the phishing will stop. We can't keep on putting gasoline into the fire.

Identity Theft : The Silent Killer
Many people have no clue that their identity has been stolen. Sometimes it takes months to find out that someone in Nebraska that has your same exact name is buying a $30,000 boat. Internet and Financial security are key to having a safe bank account. Three interesting things that you can do to prevent theft is:
- Shred all financial mail items that you do not want or need before you throw away.
- Make sure there is an "s" after the "http" in the url of a link . This assures security.
- Review the websites policies. They can have vital info that you might need to know.

I think that Bill Gates has made more advances in the software industry, but Steve Jobs had a more important role in the computer industry. He made more user friendly products, and not focused on software, while Microsoft was. He revolutionized the touch system, first with the iPod touch and then with the iPhone, continuing to the iPad. Also the Macintosh was produced before the Windows PCs. So overall, I think Apple had a great effect on the era it was in, and it still will have an effect on the era we are in now and the ones that we are going to see in the future.
